Below are selected examples and photographs from cases I have examined or investigated during my tenure at the SAPS Forensic Science Laboratory and later within the Fraud Risk Management division of the South African bank where I was employed. These illustrate the range of forensic document challenges encountered in real world investigations and the methodologies applied to resolve them with scientific accuracy.
